ABOUT ME
I am a high school junior at Newport Harbor High School with a 4.42 cumulative GPA and a deep passion for teaching and educating kids. My desire to teach began during my sophomore year when I started a tutoring business to help middle and high school students excel in Spanish and math.
This passion for education grew and I became a Leader-in-Training at the Environmental Nature Center (ENC) and CCL have camp programs, and it was important to me to show kids that environmental conservation and education don't have to end with the camp session. I wanted to provide a way for them to continue their educational journey in a fun and engaging way, which led me to launch my own initiative, Eco-Explorers. Inspired by the ENC's mission to provide transformative experiences through nature and the CCL's focus on fostering critical thinking through hands-on exploration, Eco-Explorers combines creativity, education, and environmental stewardship.
My own passion for environmental conservation education drives me to inspire others to connect with nature and adopt sustainable practices. Looking ahead, I plan to attend college, exploring a career that blends my love for teaching, problem-solving, and environmental advocacy into a meaningful career.
